The works involves the development of Al Khor Port and the deepening and widening of the navigation channel. 
The general scope of works includes dredging, stockpiling and provision and installation of navigation aids, construction of quay walls, piling works, revetment, floating pontoons, boat lift structure, slipway, fuel station, paving, roads and yards, street lighting, and provision of fire fighting network, water supply network, fuel supply network in addition to other electrical and telecommunications services.
